2012 Domu Ad Campaign

Even in these topsy-turvy days of global warming, nothing foreshadows the end of winter quite like spring training and the domu ad campaign.  Once you catch that first glimpse of a local Chicago landlord or tenant on the side of a CTA bus, or inside an el train, you can be certain of one thing: Rental season has begun.  And just like that, domu is rolling out yet another flood-the-zone marketing campaign to remind both landlords and tenants that the fastest, cheapest, and most efficient way to rent your apartment (or to find an apartment for rent) is to list it (or search for it) on domu.  This year’s campaign emphasizes the wide diversity of apartment amenity preferences and the ease with which those preferences can be searched, filtered, and satisfied on domu.

Pound-for-pound, nothing drives leads to apartment listings like domu’s annual advertising campaign. We know.  We have the metrics to prove it.

we're not sure what "color" a person has to be to be a "person of color," but are confident that our ad campaign covers the entire ethnic and racial demographic. we did leave a physically-challenged Aleutian on the cutting room floor, but expect to make amends with the Eskimo community when the time comes.

I think they're charming. I'm moving this spring and these ads have me looking at domu, a site I never heard of until last year. Do the ads depict actual Chicago residents? I'd love to be in one...

nicholas982, thank you for your kind words! last year we invited chicagoans to become a "domulebrity" by posing for the ads you are seeing now. the folks in these ads are indeed all home-grown local yokels.
