North Park University

north park university is located on a beautiful 30-acre campus, along a branch of the chicago river, in a vibrant, ethnically diverse chicago neighborhood known as north park.  there's a quiet and peaceful feel to the area, and it's only a short commute to downtown.  originally settled by swedish immigrants, today the area is a melting pot, as evidenced by the vast panorama of korean, middle eastern, thai, indian, and mexican shops and eateries.

public transportation is available through the brown el line, which terminates a few blocks south of the university, and through buses that run along both kedzie and foster avenues.

the area surrounding the university is primarily residential, a mix of single-family dwellings and small to mid-size apartment buildings. students have the option of living on campus in one of four residence halls and may also lease an apartment in one of three neighborhood buildings owned by the school.
