Robert Morris University

robert morris university is a multi-campus institution, with its main campus in chicago’s loop. located at state street and congress parkway, across from the renowned harold washington library, the loop campus occupies an historic landmark building in the heart of downtown.  the university offers associate, baccalaureate, and graduate degree programs that focus on integrating theory and applications.  until recently the loop consisted almost exclusively of office buildings, but several colleges and universities have now established  a presence, and the south side of this once primarily commercial area is now teeming with thousands and thousands of college students.

The closest neighborhoods for robert morris students are the loop itself and the so-called "south loop."  loop residents enjoy close proximity to grant park, lake michigan, soldier field, museum campus, state street, the magnificent mile, and navy pier.  in the summer,  millennium park draws a sea of humanity for recreation, dining, and entertainment.  new construction condominium towers now grace the skyline along michigan avenue, and condominium conversions deeper inside the loop have attracted a growing number of residents to the heart of the city's commercial center.  The "south loop" neighborhood, which is less affluent than the loop itself (though far from poverty-stricken) has untold condominium and apartment rentals in luxurious high-rises of recent vintage.
