Roseland sits in the middle of a south-side crossroads. Depending on your view, the Dan Ryan Expressway and the red line either end or begin here.

Roseland is home to Chicago State University, the city’s oldest, fully-accredited university, and it therefore has a noticeable student population. Beyond that, there are families, young folks, and older locals. Much like its neighbor to the south, West Pullman, Roseland apartments vary from single-family homes to duplexes to apartment complexes.

Nearby Abbott Park provides a welcoming green space, offering a sprawling spread of baseball fields. Hop on the 95th street red line stop for access to the loop and the rest of the city.
