Apartment Inspection Checklist

It’s typically a good idea to walk through your rental apartment with your tenants at the inception (and conclusion) of the lease with an apartment inspection checklist to document the condition of the rental apartment, walls, doors, lighting fixtures, mechanicals, and appliances. This checklist will serve a valuable purpose if and when you need to corroborate your entitlement to a draw against the security deposit following the apartment lease termination. For that reason, we created this Chicago apartment inspection checklist for use with your renters.
