Interior Highlights
Because I'm the first person to live in this Logan Square apartment, everything is stlly new and clean. We have laundry in-unit; what a treat!!! I've furnished the common areas (balcony, living room, kitchen, bathroom, storage stuff) and filled the space with many art and plants. You're welcome to add to the collection, but you only need to worry about furnishing your bedroom. It's a pretty good size bedroom with a lot of natural light and a big closet. It can easily fit a desk, queen or full-size bed, and dresser.
Best Things About the Building
Not much to complain about the location of this apartment in Logan Square. Keyless entry at the front entrance, and there is gated parking behind the building, literally right outside of the blue line entrance at Logan Square; Milwaukee (56) and Diversey (76) buses stop on the corner outside the building, grocery/bar/coffee/shopping options steps from the building. It's ironic.
Best Things About the Neighborhood
Fantastic Logan Square Chicago location with all the benefits of being in a city but with a lot of green space too. There are a ton of great bars, restaurants, shops, and gyms, within walking distance short bus ride/or a short ride on the blue line. If you have a flight out of O'Hare Airport, your commute is just the train ride, not walking.
Why It's Worthy of Calling Home
The apartment is excellent, but I'm a pretty good roommate. I'm clean and considerate, and I value good communication and boundaries. Pepper is OK (as long as you don't bring a dog) and might even snuggle with you (if you like cats, which we prefer). I want someone who would like to be friends/be social as I want to host parties, dinners, have friends over and go out. I also like to lay low at home, listen to music, read, paint, watch trash tv, cook, or play Mario party.
