After raping and killing at least 33 teenage boys from 1972 to 1978, John Wayne Gacy became one of the most notorious serial killers in the country.  gacy buried 26 of his victims in the crawl space under his house at this address and three others elsewhere on his property.  he also discarded at least four other bodies into the des plaines river.  He was found guilty of the murders on March 13, 1980, and executed by lethal injection on May 10, 1994, at Stateville Correctional Center.  His alleged last words were "kiss my ass."
