Unique Features

ROOM FOR RENT.

You will rent one bedroom out of the three in this condo. I live in the unit as well as one other young professional male. I work as a quality engineer, and he is a high school math teacher.

The room is roughly 11'x11' with one large closet measuring 5'x3'.

The unit is on the 4th (top) floor. With many south-facing windows, you'll have unobstructed views of the city from the inside and plentiful natural light. There are even better views from the walk-up rooftop balcony at the back of the building.

Interior Highlights

Tranquil building with tons of natural light through the very tall windows. In-unit washer/dryer for exceptional convenience. The gas oven/range, microwave, dishwasher, and refrigerator are modern. Granite countertops with maple cabinets in the kitchen. Central heat and air conditioning. The bathtub has jets.

The floor plan allows all the space to be utilized; this is a BIG place you will only realize once inside. A shared living area and a room at the end of the unit will be used for dining or more privacy/quiet if needed. I keep the place very clean and expect the roommates to as well.

Best Things About the Building

The gorgeous view of the skyline from the inside of the unit. The large storage unit is located in the basement of the building. The tenants in the other units in the building are very quiet, respectful, and primarily young professionals/families. The walk-up balcony in the alley provides an unparalleled and unobstructed view of the entire Chicago skyline.

Best Things About the Neighborhood

SAFETY. This neighborhood is extremely safe. Several schools are within a block, and the main DePaul University campus is two blocks away. In the summer, there is green everywhere; it almost doesn't feel like you're in a city. Racine is lined with trees, and the color cannot be understated. 5-minute walk to the brown line (Armitage stop) and 15 min walk to the red line (Fullerton stop). Armitage is a joy to walk with so many little shops and restaurants; there are too many great restaurants and parks nearby to list.

Why It's Worthy of Calling Home

I have lived here for seven years and have never considered moving. Everything about the area and the building make this a place worthy of calling home.
