The South Loop apartments for rent at 410 S. Wabash Ave are in a prime location for renters who want to experience the quintessential downtown Chicago apartment rental experience. The South Loop is a busy and diverse neighborhood that provides renters with a whole host of choices regarding dining, entertainment, and transit options. This neighborhood is also home to prized Chicago landmarks like Grant Park, Harold Washington Library, and the Museum Campus.

The apartments for rent at this South Loop high-rise tower will encompass studios, one-bedroom, two bedrooms, and a few three-bedroom apartments for rent. The efficient floor plans at 410 S. Wabash apartments may appeal to student renters; the building also sits near Columbia College Chicago’s campus, and the campus of Roosevelt University is in the neighborhood. DePaul University Loop campus is very close, too.

Aside from schools and libraries, the South Loop is known for its green eastern edge. The lakefront is free from all development, meaning that parks set the tone for this stretch of downtown Chicago. The softball fields at Grant Park are the home for intramural leagues during the warmer months, and Buckingham Fountain is the perfect spot to snap a photo and create Chicago memories. There’s plenty of entertainment around the South Loop during the months when Chicago’s temperatures plunge below freezing, too. The Auditorium Theater, a national historic landmark, is around the corner from 410 S. Wabash and regularly hosts performances by orchestras, opera singers, top-selling artists, and celebrated speakers. The Field Museum of Natural History is a little over a mile away from these South Loop apartments, and it’s an excellent place to explore the world’s most complete T-Rex skeleton (affectionately dubbed Sue by Field Museum paleontologists) and learn about natural sciences. The John G. Shedd Aquarium isn’t too far away, either. The Adler Planetarium rounds out the Museum Campus on a pier that juts out onto Lake Michigan.

Shopping is pretty simple for renters in this part of the South Loop as they can choose to hit up Trader Joe’s or Jewel-Osco in minutes. Transportation options in this neighborhood are some of the most plentiful in town, with all CTA train lines stopping somewhere close by (for renters at 410 S. Wabash, the nearest stop would be Harold Washington Library/State and Van Buren) and the Metra lines that flow into LaSalle Street station.
