Heart of the Neighborhood
The Lombard Park District boasts one of the most modern and fun water parks in the state of Illinois. The Paradise Bay Water Park has fun-filled maritime adventures for the entire family. Dip into a zero-depth entry pool, splash around the many fountains and water sprays, or relax in the whirlpool. For more adventure, there are several water slides. Practice your form on the 12-foot dive as you leap off 1-meter or 3-meter diving boards. From aquatic fitness to classes to rentals for events, the Paradise Bay Water Park has what you need for summer fun. Get a little taste of Greece at the Greek Islands restaurant in Lombard. With another location in Chicago's Greektown, the owners of Greek Islands aim to bring authentic food, flavors, and service directly from Greece to Illinois. Featuring high-quality wine, extra virgin olive oil, cheese, and herbs, you can expect a positive and authentic Greek experience on Greek Islands.

What We Love Most
Lombard's Lilacia Park houses a historic collection open for public enjoyment. In 1869, Colonel William Plum and his wife, Helen Maria Williams Plum, purchased land in the newly established Lombard and began cultivating their lilac collection here. Now, Lombard has synonymized itself with lilacs, the beautiful purple flower.

Best Way to Get Around
Lombard rests about 22 miles west of Chicago. You'll need a car to get around town, especially if you're commuting to Chicago. The most direct path to Chicago by car is via the I-290. However, you can leave the car in the garage and hop onto the Metra's Union Pacific West train line, which takes you directly to the Ogilvie Transportation Center in downtown Chicago.
