Rod Blagojevich

Rod Blagojevich was the governor of Illinois from 2003 to 2009 and served as a member of the U.S. House of Representatives from 1997 to 2003.  Often known as "Blago," he was arrested on federal corruption charges involving conspiracy to commit mail and wire fraud and solicitation of bribery in connection with his effort to sell a U.S. senate seat to the best bidder.  He infamously said of his right to appoint a new senator following president Obama's move to the White House, "I've got this f------- thing, and it's f------- golden."  He was not aware that his phone was tapped at the time.  The former governor resided at 2900 West Sunnyside Avenue with his wife and two daughters before relocating to Federal Correctional Institution, Englewood in Littleton, Colorado to serve a 14-year sentence.
