Why List A Building on Domu?

When should I use a building listing as opposed to several single listings?

We recommend using a building page listing when you have three or more current or anticipated vacancies. Most properties with rotating vacancies use building page listings and can update availability by logging into their accounts or connecting with a feed. Single unit listings are great for one to two vacancies or when someone needs to sublet a single unit. Property managers with a portfolio consisting of many small properties tend to use single listings that are available in wholesale bulk packages.

Does Domu integrate with pricing feeds?

Yes, Domu integrates with these feeds: RealPage, Yardi/RENTCafé, and Entrata.

Can I edit my listing?

You can edit your listing 24/7. You may add photos, change rent pricing, offer specials, etc. Or, if you prefer, contact Domu to make changes for you.

Where do my leads go?

Email leads will be delivered directly to the email address you added when you created the listing. Domu is able to integrate with certain lead tracking software if that’s what you use to manage your leads. Prospective renters may also reach you by phone. Domu uses a call tracking number for all building listings. A copy of your email and phone leads is stored in your account under the “Leads” tab.

What are Domu’s contract terms?

How do I pay for my building listing?

Domu will invoice you, typically 30 days in advance of the due date, for your listing. You may pay online by credit card or mail us a check.

What kind of reporting do I get with my listing?

The analytics report shows the number of phone calls made to you, the number of email leads sent to you, the number of views your listing has received, and the number of renters that have saved your listing to their favorites.

How do I get my listing to appear at the top of the search results page?

There are no promoted or boosted listings on the site. Listings are automatically sorted to display based on the date that the listing goes live on the site. However, building listings are frequently rotated to appear higher up in search results. Most renters search for apartment by location, apartment features and price. Keeping an accurate and detailed listing on the site is the best way to secure leads.
