Unique Features
One thing that I and my partner Rosy, love about our apartment is that it's a genuine Victorian home. The house features a spacious wrap around porch (that can be used to kick back and relax) and the roof has an absolutely beautiful onion dome, so it kind of stands out in the neighborhood. Nothing too fancy, but if you're looking for somewhere with a bit of character, this checks the box!
Interior Highlights
There are some really special details throughout the house (e.g. ornate vintage doorknobs and hinges). Additionally, our apartment has hardwood floors and window panes that really brighten the space. The whole unit receives an abundance of natural light (especially the room that is being rented).
Best Things About the Building
The extended backyard is one of the best things about this space. There is ample room for large gatherings and parties. Additionally, this apartment has quite a bit of storage space in the basement and attic. Lastly, having laundry on site is extremely helpful as well.

We are located one block from the Oak Park stop on the Green Line (20 minute train ride to downtown Chicago).
There's a variety of shops, restaurants, cafes, record stores, yoga studios, a nice park in walking distance of the apartment. We are down the street from an extraordinary three story library. Further down, there’s a theatre with heated reclining seats, a bookstore, and many grocery store options within a 5 minute radius (Pete’s, Whole Foods, Aldi’s, Jewel Osco, Trader Joe’s, etc.).
