Interior Highlights
I am relocating for a job out of Chicago in March 2023 and need to sublet my 2-bed apartment starting 4/1/23 or, if required, possibly a week earlier. I can provide a floor plan and virtual tour upon request. The building is called The Maynard, which has a website with available information. The te is responsible for gas and electricity. Internet is not included. Pets are allowed. The current lease is for two dogs. If you don’t have pets, I will cover the monthly $50 pet fee (25$ per pet). There is a garage parking space, but I don’t have one in my lease. There is street parking available.
Best Things About the Building
This an elevator building, and there is a callbox that links to your phone for deliveries/visitors. The lease ends on 9/25/23, but you can apply for a new lease if you like. For the sublet period, you will fill out an application with the landlord (CLK) and provide your last three check stubs and ID for approval. Rent is $2050 with a $50 pet fee for two dogs. If you do not have pets, I will cover the pet fee for the remainder of the lease upfront in a lump sum for you to put towards the rent.
Best Things About the Neighborhood
This apartment is a short walk from the Clybourn Metra stop. It’s also 5 mins from 90/94. The 74 Fullerton bus is a 5-minute walk away and either a 10-15 min bus ride to the Fullerton Brown/Red/Purple train stop or a 25 min walk. About 7 min walk away is the 9/X9 bus stop at Ashland and Fullerton. Right next door is Crio, a Latin restaurant/bar. There is also a Jewel, a 2 min walk away. Starbucks is a short walk, and a small shopping center is also behind the building.
Why it's Worthy of Calling Home
If you prefer to tour the apartment in person, please get in touch with me, and we’ll set it up. There is not a live-in super, but the landlord arranges maintenance.
