The unit itself is HUGE, two large living areas - we have it set up as dining and living rooms - a great layout for privacy of roommates, and a huge kitchen that was updated just two years ago (countertops, and appliances have only had 1 tenant use them). The living room has a functional gas fireplace for cozy nights in. All of the windows (of which there are quite a few) were recently replaced along with the classic wooden slat blinds. Additionally, there is free laundry in the basement and a detached garage parking space included
Best Things About the Building
Much like the living space, storage and outdoor space in this building does not disappoint! On top of the in-unit storage the tenant(s) have access to store items in the basement. On top of all this there is a shared back stone patio area with some gardening areas. The landlord is open to you making this your own and planting in the garden.
Best Things About the Neighborhood
Quiet, tree-lined street with excellent neighbors!! Right off the Boulevard Short walk to to the train and all nightlife - or take out nightlife given these times - Logan Square has to offer. There’s a Target and a Walgreens within walking distance, grocery stores (The Dill Pickle, Fresh Thyme, etc.), shopping, and quick access to 90/94.
Why it's Worthy of Calling Home
The neighbors on the entire street are fantastic, the building itself is cozy & homey. The windows and natural light make it easy to bring nature inside with house plants and there is no shortage of outdoor space to kick back and relax while being socially distant and responsible.
