What you Should Know
Unique Features
Quiet brick 3-flat in North Center. Just south of Irving Park and just east of Lincoln Ave. This brand new rehab 2-bedroom apartment is for rent on the second floor. You'd be the first to occupy it since it's a deep remodel. You'll have a brand new washer/dryer in its laundry room. The kitchen is gutted and remodeled—all new stainless steel appliances, gas stove, microwave, refrigerator and dishwasher, and disposal. Hidden behind a door in the kitchen is your brand-new water heater. You also have your furnace/AC, where you control the temperature.
Interior Highlights
The bathroom in this North Center Chicago apartment is also totally new. Outside your backdoor is an area where you can put a table and chairs or just a couple of comfortable chairs. Some tenants hang flower pots or grow tomatoes or peppers in a container. You'll also have a large private storage room in the basement and plenty of open bicycle space. The building is also a no-smoking place and does not allow pets.
Best Things About the Building
The apartment is convenient to the world outside. You will be 900 steps from the Brown Line on Irving Park. A couple of blocks south of Lincoln is a Trader Joe's. A couple of blocks north is a Jewel. Walk north on Lincoln park, and you pass many restaurants and shops. And then there is Lincoln Square, with its many shops and festivities during the year. This neighborhood is mostly (over a million dollars) private homes. It's safe and quiet.
Best Things About the Neighborhood
On lovely days, lots of people walk about. It's an actual neighborhood. On the corner is one of my favorite restaurants, Brownstone which has lots of. TV and tends to have sports on the channels. Just walk over and enjoy the game if you want a beer and some company.
Why it's Worthy of Calling Home
If being proud of where you and life are essential to you, this is the apartment. Sorry for the limited pictures. After three months of construction, we are on the home stretch. The new kitchen cabinets were installed yesterday. Last Monday, all the floors were sanded and refinished. The bath is tiled with a tub and shower. Today they were in measuring for the new Quartz countertops. There is plenty of street parking, and you'll be able to get a parking permit for the area.
